Many people don\u2019t know their way around the kitchen, and some expect their food to be served on the dining table with little to no personal contribution. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Yeah, we get it. Cooking is not everyone\u2019s thing. Not everyone has enough time to buy groceries, knows how to cook, or has access to a kitchen. Nevertheless, it is a usual occurrence. Because of this, people turn to devoured but dreaded fast-food. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">What\u2019s there not to like? <\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">It\u2019s quick to order, it\u2019s cheap, and it\u2019s easy to eat. But most of all, it is delicious! It is trendy nowadays because everyone is busy fending for themselves. Amidst everything they do, a quick meal is what everyone prefers\u2014something that is easy to consume and something fast. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Fast food often turns out to be the default choice. The smell of it increases our sense of taste and makes the entire experience of eating fast food much more enjoyable. It contains all the feel-good ingredients. Fast food is rich in sugars, trans fats, sodium and calories. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">These ingredients release neurotransmitters like\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.webmd.com\/mental-health\/what-is-dopamine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dopamine<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.livescience.com\/42198-what-is-oxytocin.html#:~:text=Oxytocin%20is%20a%20hormone%20secreted,snuggle%20up%20or%20bond%20socially.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">oxytocin<\/a>\u00a0in your brain, which prompts feelings of relaxation and pleasure. It then becomes our weakness and something we cannot resist.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Here are some prominent reasons why fast food is terrible that we all know about<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Increased risk of obesity<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The most significant difference between eating a healthy and balanced diet and a junk-based diet is the extra calories you will consume. It&#8217;s a no-brainer. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">A high-calorie diet will lead you to obesity and unnecessary weight gain. Researchers have concluded that fast food will indefinitely lead to weight gain and an increase in\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.news-medical.net\/health\/What-is-Body-Mass-Index-(BMI).aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BMI (Body Mass Index)<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Constipation<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Fibre, a nutritional component found in fruits, vegetables, and nuts, is missing in most fast food items. Fibre is what helps the digested food move along your intestines and pushes the waste out of your body. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Without this, you may find that you will go to the bathroom for a \u201cnumber 2\u201d a little less frequently. However, more than the consumption of calories is required. It also includes kidney problems, increased blood sugar and cholesterol levels, risk of cancer and heart diseases, skin problems and mental health deterioration.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Last Words<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The phrase \u201cyou are what you eat\u201d has never been more true. We&#8217;re not suggesting you give up fast food completely.
